Welcome to The Rotary Club of Reynoldsburg - Pickerington. Our club was admitted to Rotary on February 19, 1986 and is a part of Rotary International. The charter presentation ceremony was held on April 12, 1986 with Dr. Morgan Heflin as the charter president. Ceremonies were held at the Columbus Country Club in Columbus, Ohio with members from our club as well as the Whitehall Rotary Club, our sponsors, in attendance.

Our Club was formed with Just Thirty Charter members and now has a consistent membership of approximately 27 members.

Weekly Meetings

Our club meets at Wesley Ridge Retirement Center located at 2225 State Route 256 Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 on Tuesdays at 12:00 noon in the main dinning room. Should you wish to make up a meeting or be interested in becoming a member of our Rotary Club, we would welcome you. If you are traveling on I-70 on the East side of Columbus, Ohio, take the Route 256 Exit, head North and turn left into Wesley Ridge, follow the entrance to the main building on your right.

The Object of Rotary

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

I.	The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
II.	High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society
III.	The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life
IV.	The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service

The 4-Way Test

From the earliest days of the organization, Rotarians were concerned with promoting high ethical standards in their professional lives.  One of the most widely quoted statements of business ethics is The 4-Way Test, which was created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor when he was asked to take charge of a company that was facing bankruptcy.  Adopted by Rotary in 1943, The 4-Way Test has been translated into more than a hundred languages and published in thousands of ways.  It asks the following four questions: "Of the things we think, say or do":

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
